How did we get started?
We saw the light.
While working with an LED-based street lighting firm, Jeff talked to a multinational company about their challenges with ensuring proper lighting in their warehouse facilities. Their need was great, but there was no product in the market that could accomplish their main goals of reducing energy usage substantially while increasing uptime.
Jeff contacted a major US university with extensive experience in optical design to create a light that would provide uniform light on the horizontal AND vertical surfaces – the thing that matters the most in an aisle of warehouse. He then brought in mechanical and electrical designers to build a stable platform to manage the high brightness LED's to ensure long life and low power usage.
After two years and several prototypes, the EverBright™400 was born. Efficient Photon is committed to providing warehouse owners with lighting products that meet their needs – increase uptime, lower operating costs, and, most importantly, quick return on investment.
